Challenge
Facq wanted to optimize the user experience and give their site a total new ‘fresh’ look & feel to promote their high quality design.
On top of that they wanted to make the huge amount of content more easily available for the customer and implement easy to use tools like ‘add to any’, rss, send to a friend, thumbs up/thumbs down, …
Extra request was the clear distinction between the ‘customer’ and the ‘professional’ content.
Solutions
With a high amount of content and the link to the e-commerce site, once again WebEngine was chosen to give the site a complete new structure & look.
Usability audits and expertise were used to guarantee an optimized user experience. This combined with the KPI’s set by Facq’s management translated into a total new design and navigation.
More than 600 PDF documents are fully automatically transferred towards an interactive Flash driven product folder.
The portal database module allows the contributors to quickly update their most important articles.
The HR department updates the available jobs on a daily basis using WebEngine’s database module.
