AstraZeneca
IRESSA and EGFR website design

Challenge

AstraZeneca wants to launch two informative website.

IRESSA (gefitinib) is a once-daily 250mg oral medication that targets and blocks the activity of the EGFR-TK, an enzyme that regulates intracellular signalling pathways implicated in cancer cell proliferation and survival. EGFR mutation testing brings personalized treatment to patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Solutions

As the subjects of both sites are quite a serious matter, AstraZeneca wanted a simple, clear and clean design based on the AstraZeneca web guidelines. Nothing flashy but nevertheless with attention for detail such as ‘bookmark this page’ and paper friendly print options. Also uniformity throughout both sites was a requirement so the visitor feels immediately at home when visiting the sites and doesn’t get lost in all the information provided.
Based on this info, our people knew what to do and created the design for both websites (2 home pages en 5 internal pages).
