Challenge

The E-Business department of Electrabel asked LBi to analyze their e-business strategy. They also wanted LBi to design a strategic roadmap to bring them to the fourth level of e‑business within five years.

The e-business had to be integrated by way of a roadmap and the proposal had to be compatible with the existing projects and e-business infrastructures.

Solutions

LBi proposed a strategic roadmap for the next 5 years related to 8 given 'chapters' such as enterprise portal, e-collaboration, e-marketing, e-billing, web analytics, users access management, Web content management, Call center integration.

The methodology used for this project consisted of face-to-face interviews of Electrabel key people, documentation analysis, industry literature, the LBi group experience, practical approach and expertise.
The roadmap will be used on an action level by different departments in the coming years.
