Multimedia website framework

Challenge

Studio 100 is well known in Belgium and abroad for its creative children productions such as Kabouter Plop, Samson & Gert, Bumba and so on. All these creations needed a stable and robust internet platform and that is where LBi comes into the picture.

Solutions

LBi developed for Studio 100 a complete technical framework for their sites. This framework was based on MediaSurface as CMS and was enriched with a technical layer in order to support the heavy loads these servers have to endure.

Not only the technical platform was created by LBi, but also the initial graphical layout on which the internal Studio 100 team continued to work on. Today, the site is an ever-changing graphical environment that keeps both the youngsters and their parents well up to date on what is happening in the Studio 100 Universe.

After the Studio 100 project, Plopsaland also decided to continue on the Studio 100 platform. Plopsaland is the group that is responsible for the day to day running of the multiple amusement parks that are build around the Studio 100 characters. One year after the Studio 100 launch the sites for all Plopsaland amusement parks were put online.
