Challenge

Makro was on the look-out for a partner with the necessary know-how, and able to implement a user-friendly platform for the content management of the site. Besides that, Makro needed a partner with indepth 'Retail' experienced e-marketing skills.

Solutions

After a profound study and analysis of the available solutions and services, the cash & carry company chose WebEngine v6. While following the very strict corporate design guidelines and structure, the CMS WebEngine still allows Makro to easily update their vast content on a daily and performant basis. The different CMS users each easily update their own chapter of the website. The quality managers then determine what's being put online when, where and by whom.

Makro attaches great interest to the workflow assistance of WebEngine: by using the built-in workflow-mechanism, the users can safely manage the content, without losing sight of what other content managers are up to, or of what's being put online at what time and by whom.
